Repairs must be promptly made and reported to be eligible for the leak allowance credit. If the date of repair is unknown at the time the leak allowance credit is requested, the date on the proof of repair will be used as the date of repair.

 

Visible leaks, such as leaking pipes or fixtures, which have been promptly reported and repaired may be given a leak allowance credit of 50% of excess water delivery. Concealed leaks, such as an underground pipe leak or coupling leak, which have been promptly reported and repaired may be given a leak allowance credit of 100% off excess water delivery.
